Some of us do go on this journey
We didn't stand up and say we volunteer
(It didn't work that way at all
It's not like you had a choice
of volunteering or not volunteering)
That isn't the way it works.

It's as if you're propelled into it
Like the Moth to the Flame.

But yet nobody's
pushing you. Nobody's
standing around saying: Get in!
Take every third man! HE goes!
It doesn't work that way either.
